Today we took the Beaver from Wilderness Seaplanes to Rivers Inlet (Wuikinuxw). It was great to see Thomas and take him along as a ride along passenger. He mentioned that the flight will help inspire some new artwork. Thomas currently teaches at the Gwa'sala-'Nakwaxda'xw School in Port Hardy.
Thank you to Elvina for lending us her truck so we could visit beautiful Oweekano Lake. It was beautiful.
In the evening we stayed at Eagles Nest BNB in Port Hardy and met with community members. Many stories were shared around the dinner table, and we shared delicious food as well.
