Today we presented to high school classrooms in Bella Bella and met with teachers in preparation for LBN's Fall Programs here. We are excited to welcome Jennifer as the Teacher Liaison for our Reading program running Mondays after school and Yanique as the Teacher Laison for our Math program running Tuesdays after school.
We then took the water taxi over to Denny Island for dinner at the Fisherman's Bar and Grill. It was great to see Thomas Wilson's artwork here as the new logo at the Shearwater Resort, a resort fully owned and operated by the Heiltsuk Nation. Thomas Wilson designed the logo we now use for our Indigenous Programs department.
