Program Coordinator

As a Program Coordinator (PC), you will have the opportunity to collaborate with your Executive Coordinator (EC) to facilitate a positive learning environment for mentors and buddies alike. In addition, you will model and encourage various teaching techniques for mentors, ensuring mentors and buddies feel well supported.

We offer online, hybrid, and in-person programs.

Timeslots & Site Addresses are Below

All Timeslots are in Pacific Time

 

    • Complete the Program Coordinator training

    • Attend the coordinator meeting

    • Conduct mentor interviews and ensure their training is complete

    • Participate in the orientation during the first week of the programs

    • Record mentor attendance

    • Lead mentor meetings

    • Debrief after each session

    • Track mentor reports

    • Complete Program Coordinator reports

    • Guide and provide feedback to mentors

    • Oversee and check in on mentors during sessions

    • Report to your Executive Coordinator

    • Provide references for mentors

    • Assist in volunteer recruitment

    • The mandatory training must be completed

    • Volunteers must have a criminal record check done before volunteering with children

    • Must be located in Canada or the Continental United States

    • Program Coordinators must have previous experience as a mentor as this is a leadership role
