Flying into Kyuquot with Helicopters Without Borders!

Today we travelled to Kyuquot with Helicopters Without Borders to continue building relationships with Indigenous communities on Vancouver Island’s west coast.

We had the pleasure of meeting with Nora and Jennifer from the Ka:’yu:‘k’t’h'/Che:k’tles7et’h’ First Nations (KCFN) office to learn more about the community and discuss opportunities for collaboration.

We are especially excited to return in February to participate in the community’s educational workshop days and explore how our programs can support local students and educators.

We ended the day at a wonderful community dinner and were even invited back for another dinner tomorrow!

Thank you to Nora, Jennifer, and everyone who has welcomed us into the community. We are grateful for the opportunity to connect and look forward to continuing to learn and work together.
